Trending Spring Accessories

Spring is officially here! Let’s jump in the season with some fun spring accessory trends. A combo of refreshed classics and bold new looks is popular this year. Some of the biggest trends from the ’90s and ’00 are coming back in a BIG way. Let’s take a look!

1. PEARLS

Peals are a true classic, but for the past few seasons, they’ve really been having their moment. They can be seen in everything from your favorite necklace, earrings, hair accessories, and even embellishments on handbags and sandals. Pearls are not just reserved for a fancy night, but for any time.

2. CANDY-COLORED JEWELS

Not your Grandma’s jewelry!! Since this season is all about pops of color, what better way than colorful gems? Trending in oversized proportions and bright colors. Choose colors that light up your face and complement your skin tone.

3. SIGNET RINGS

Because designers keep developing new takes on these classic gold rings. A favorite of men and women, new styles feature personal and sentimental motifs, and they can be customized with zodiac signs, birthstones, initials, and just about anything

4. HEADBANDS/HEADSCARVES

This is a trend that’s been in and out for the past few seasons. We tend to see it more in the spring and summer months as a cute way to keep our hair up and out of our faces. The headscarves also double as protection from the sun. Whether skinny or thick, you can’t go wrong with a headband this spring. Be extra trendy with embellishments

5. DOUBLE-LAYER NECKLACES

Layered necklaces have been on trend but this spring it’s a little more specific. Two-layered necklaces will be seen everywhere and in a multitude of ways, dainty and minimalistic as well as bold and chunky. The best part of this trend is that you probably already have what you need in your jewelry box. Don’t be afraid to mix metals too. This season, designers are finding new ways to elevate the chunky gold chain necklace.  Chokers – Yep, chokers are back with a vengeance. Try minimalist and bold vibes this season.

6. STATEMENT HOOPS

We’re seeing Bigger, bolder, and chunkier hoops this spring. Bigger-style hoops that almost graze your shoulders are making a comeback.

7. PAPERCLIP LINKS

Paperclip chains are all over! They’re so fun and easy to style. This trend is simple enough to be worn every day. I am loving this Y-shaped, layered necklace, it’s perfect for every day and dressing up any v-neck top.

8. MAXIMALISM

Sometimes, more is more – don’t be afraid to mix metals, colors, and brands to create your individual look. Stack bracelets alongside your watch; layer necklaces, pendants, and chains to create an eclectic look; and combine multiple hoops and studs for a unique ear stack. When you think enough is enough, add a little more. Chokers are the perfect starting point for a décolletage. On the wrist, chunky chains and slender bangles will avoid an unsightly tangle, and on the lobes, layer hoops of all shapes and sizes.

9. WIDE WAIST BELTS

The wide waist belt is a fantastic way to create an hourglass silhouette or break up a monochromatic look. This can be worn many ways but the most popular trend is with a long blazer, cardigan, sweater or body-skimming dress. Opt for black or brown to get the most use out of this accessory.

10. PURPLE HANDBAGS

This season is all about pops of bright color. Very Peri is the Pantone color of the year, leading us to see a lot of purple purses. They will instantly elevate any outfit. My suggestion is to wear purple bags with the following: pink, and blue to “match”, pick yellow, green, or orange to make it pop, or keep your outfit in gray, black or white and let the accessory do all the talking.
