Memorial Day weekend is RIGHT around the corner. Do you have your long weekend looks picked out yet? Whether you’re heading to a BBQ, going to a parade, having a boat day, or something in between – I’ve got you covered in the style department! When picking out a Memorial Day look, I love to go beyond the cheesy red, white and blue t-shirt. There’s a way to be patriotic and still look relevant! Let’s dive right on in!
BBQ LOOKS:
When BBQ’ing, I love to wear shorts or denim with a top & sandals. You could wear a graphic tee, a blouse, a light sweatshirt, or a light sweater. Wear something casual and functional for yard games, fun and maybe a bonfire as the day turns to night!
MEMORIAL DAY PARADE LOOKS:
A Memorial Day parade is the perfect opportunity to wear a dress. Whether it’s a red, white or blue dress or maybe a non-patriotic color, it’s great for the occasion! Throw on a comfy pair of sandals or wedges and add a handbag to accessorize and hold your family’s stuff.
BOAT DAY LOOKS:
For boat days, I love to wear something light and airy! I love flowy shorts, loose cover ups and button down shirts. A hat is always a must too! If you plan to jump in the water or catch some rays, a one piece swimsuit is a great option for staying comfortable and appropriate around your family.
