The 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale will be going from July 9th to August 4th. Early access for all Nordstrom Cardholders start on July 9th. Prices will go back up on August 5th. If you have never shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I’m here to help you navigate everything. If you’ve shopped before you know how overwhelming it can be!

Nordstrom was my first retail job, I worked in cosmetics at the MAC counter and Bobbi Brown. I started working there as a cashier in shoes at 19, but quickly moved across the way. Shoes and make-up at 19!? Best job ever!! Nordstrom makes me feel nostalgic. I learned so much about customer service and leadership during my time there. No wonder the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has a special place in my heart. I have personally shopped the Anniversary Sale for 28 years!!
This sale is different from others because it’s mostly brand-new items that go on sale for a short time and then go back up when it’s over. This year, the sale goes from July 9th, but if you are a Nordstrom cardholder you get early access. The higher your tier, the earlier your access will be.

June 27th // PREVIEW DAY this is for EVERYONE, Nordstrom cardholders or not. This online preview will be live and you will be able to start creating your wish lists.
There is a pre-sale that happens from July 9th through the 14th of 2024. This is open to cardholders ONLY. This is only open to cardholders. To get a Nordstrom card click here. I have the Nordstrom Visa and could not be happier! Nordstrom has updated their cardholder levers to Icons, Ambassadors, and Influencers. Depending on your level of annual spending will determine your level.
Next month, thousands of brand-new items will hit Nordstrom.com ON SALE. The reason people get excited about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is that almost everything is marked down up to 40% off and will go back up to regular price once the sale ends! It’s the perfect time of year to stock up on things for you and the family for back to school and for last chance summer. Your Nordy Club level determines when you can start shopping for the sale, see all the details above!
What’s New This Year
- Nordstrom listened to your requests for a shorter, more condensed early access period. This means more extended public access and more of a chance to snag items on your wishlist (all explained below) EASTERN STANDARD TIME. Set your alarm because products move fast!
- Hundreds of new brands will be offered this year!
Here Are Some Tips and Tricks to Shopping The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024!
- Buy 2 sizes Not sure what size you are? Buy 2 sizes, to ensure you don’t lose it! Free returns online & in stores. Better safe than sorry, especially with denim!
- Buy online/Buy online, pick up in-store Skip the crowds, and shop on the couch! There is also more of a variety of merchandise available online than there may be in your local store. If you can’t wait, choose the Buy Online, Pick up In-Store option!
- Last year Nordstrom rolled out a wish list feature that makes shopping the sale easier. When the preview is live (June 27th) you will be able to create a wish list of items that you love. When you can shop the sale you can simply go to your wish list and checkout.
- To create a wish list, log into your account and the wish list tab will appear in the drop-down menu. Also note: If an item is sold out, you can also add it to your wish list so you can purchase it when it comes back in stock!
Why Shop Early?
Let me put it this way, other than brand-new merchandise marked down up to 40% off. Things go FAST, sometimes even on the first day of Early Access! If you’re unsure about something, best to have your wishlist ready and just hit checkout! I know it sounds crazy. However, Nordstromoffers free returns online & in-store! Don’t forget, if you are a Nordy Club cardmember you get to choose a Triple Points Day during the sale! So use that triple points day!
